Will This Fix The Issue?

Question: Will This Fix The Issue?

I have a Maytag MHW7000XR1 model washer. I am having an issue with my washer not filling with water. I have replaced the water inlet valve and the water valve which connects to the hoses. My washer worked twice, and then no water again. I noticed that the actuator switch is clicking constantly, and the arm moves constantly, not stopping where it should to allow water into the dispenser. Should I replace this part to solve the issue? No codes except for lack of water flow. Thank you.

Yes it sounds like the actuator motor is continually running and not stopping where it should, now this is probably the actuator motor causing the problem but it could be the main control but most likely it's the actuator. The part you need for the model you listed is linked below.
