Error F9E1

Question: Error F9E1

W10252714A The washer is throwing the F9E1 code. I cleaned out the pump filter which didn’t fix it (it wasn’t dirty anyway). Then I un-plugged and replugged in the washer, which also didn’t fix it. I took the pump apart and found no obstructions. The pump works when it gets that far in the cycle. It’s kinda noisy. Even though the pump works and everything else seems to be fine, do you think the pump is still at fault? When I took it apart I found that the impeller wiggles around. And I can pull it out about a quarter of an inch. It doesn’t come all the way out. Is it supposed to be like that? Also when I spin it, it feels like it “grabs” (the magnetic pull) but there’s a pretty big dead space when it feels like it doesn’t grab. Is it supposed to be like that? Could the pressure sensor actually be the culprit? Lots of questions sorry haha. Just let me know what you think the problem sounds like.

Replace the drain pump and that should take care of the issue.
