I have a MayTag 2000 series front load washer that is about 10 years old. Over a week ago, it started displaying an LF error code about 14 minutes into the cycle. We Googled the issue and checked all the hoses and screens, replaced the water inlet valve, checked the drain pipe and checked the pressure switch to be sure it was operating but to no avail. Below is the water inlet valve that we replace with no trouble. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to be able to use my washer again. Thanks! Ok so you were on the right track but you bought the wrong valve, you replaced the cold water valve but you should have replaced the hot water inlet valve. It's working 14 minutes into the cycle because it's filling with cold water but when it gets to that part of the cycle of whatever cycle you are using its calling for hot water and not filling, the hot water valve is a separate valve on those models.
