My dryer recently threw a F28 code. I replaced the moisture sensor but this did not fix the problem. After reading the answer from Michael Crum’s question above, I replaced the control board. After hooking up the new control board it’s now throwing a F2 code. Should I have replaced the user interface board?

Yes, you have a stuck key on the interface board that is what the F2 error is anyhow. If the error is not resetting then yes the interface board is the issue. Sounds to me like both boards failed on the unit.
