Replaced Lock Actuator And Still Won’t Recognize As Locked

Question: Replaced Lock Actuator And Still Won’t Recognize As Locked

Whirlpool front load washer WFW75HEFW0 I previously replaced the lock actuator when I got the F5e2 error code before so naturally I see this code come up recently again and ordered a new one and replaced it once again. This time the part works and locks the door but the washer does not recognize that it is locked and the red light signalling it’s locked won’t light up. Also it won’t start any cycle. I have unplugged waited and plugged it back in. Checked that my connections to the actuator are firmly in place and it still won’t start.

Unfortunately, that would mean the main control is bad. It's referred to as the ACU or CCU in the manuals. The part for your model is Washer Electronic Control Board W11201274. You may find it on eBay or Amazon or you can just google that part number and you will find plenty of places to order it from online.
