Regarding this answer, I'm not sure what is meant by contnuity. Do you mean that I should be able to blow through? And if I can blow through that means its working? And if I blow through and it is stopped that means it needs to be replaced? Thank you!

Unplug the flow meter from the wiring. Connect your ohmmeter leads to the flow meter terminals and blow through it. If the flow meter has an open circuit while blowing through it it's bad. If you don't understand that then you need to watch one or more of the videos linked below:
