We are getting an F70 code on our washer. Sometimes it will engage and start but most of the time it does not. Very unpredictable and frustrating. Drum rotates freely.

That is a failure code for the main control "CCU" Central Control Unit. The control will need to be replaced if you keep getting that code. The control you need can be ordered from the link below:

It's mounted right at the top of the front right of the washer you will see it when the top lid is removed.
