Duet Dryer E1 code After Replacing Thermistor And Wiring Checks Out

Question: Duet Dryer E1 code After Replacing Thermistor And Wiring Checks Out

I have a whirlpool duet, E1 code came on, repair man replaced thermistor, still happened, then checked wiring, then replaced 2 black round things, coils I think, still shutting off and code E1. Model GGW9250PW1. Please advise, he thinks maybe circuit board, but he can’t find one at a reasonable price to try.

With what you have stated I second his opinion on the issue being the control board. I don't know what you consider a reasonable price but you can get those boards on ebay from between $80.00 - $250. The part number for your board is 8546219. If you search that part number on Ebay you will find the listings. You can save yourself a lot of money ordering the part and replacing it yourself. The video below shows how to change out the board, it's fairly easy.
